For our annual Chinese New Year vacation this year we were seeking a destination that was a little off the beaten track with access to good diving yet manageable with a 1 and a half year old son.
Turtle Bay Dive Resort ticked all of these boxes and I would recommend it as an escape. Off the coast of Maolboal on the island Cebu, the resorts house reef offers some great marine life and is just 30m from the jetty. Just 20mins by speed boat gets you to Pescador Island the best dive site in this area and there are many other dive sites further up the coast.
After almost two years with back-to-back winters it was great to soak up some sun and get back in the water!
